Is this movement of the drum normal and if not, how can I fix it?

Post make and model # please. Not normal I would guess the bearing are bad. Some have a 10 year warranty on parts. Reach inside door and lift basket may feel movement between basket and tub. Rotate basket by hand should feel smooth.

If I rotate by hand it's smooth.
There is no movement.
When it spins empty it's fine.
As soon as clothes are in, it shakes a lot.

Sounds like a balance issue. 1st make sure all 4 feet are solid on floor (no wiggles when you lean on corners) Put 4 or 5 towels in washer, get them wet, Put in spin and let it get to high spin, DON'T TRY TO LEVEL IN LOW SPEED WILL NOT WORK) adjust 1 front leg I always use the easiest leg to reach. turn leg up or down till washer smooths out. could take as little as a 1/2 turn. Let us know how it came out.
Tub assy hangs on 2 springs and will move around a lot. Thought it was bearing from all the noise. Is that noise coming from washer?
