CookTop (Dual Element)

I am shopping for a new cooktop and would like to know what is a Two Dual-Choice™ Elements?

Costco has 3 different Maytag electrical version and I am not sure which to buy.

First choice so far would be this one:

Thanks

The dual choice elements allow you to use the full size of the element, or reduce it in size similar to the smaller burners (elements). This is for the larger elements only.

It makes sense and saves some power. You don't need a large element to simmer in a small sauce pan or small skillet.
