Kenmore 80 series washer will not agitate
My washer will go through the entire wash cycle, but skips the agitating parts. It spins and drains just fine. When we first noticed this problem it would start to agitate if we pushed in and pulled out the start nob. Or if we tapped on the side of the nob it would start it would begin agitating. Neither of those work anymore. My husband thinks it could be the timer. I just wantto confirm his idea or get any other advice. Thanks in advance.

If you buy the timer from APP, it can be returned if it doesn't fix the problem.
