GE Washer won't spin or agitate

When I do continuity test on Lid switch I get the same reading lid closed or open 003. when turned on to 200 ohms 001. Does this mean lid switch bad?

Lets start at beginning post model #. Lid switch should show infinity open (no circuit) most lid switches just stop spin, newer washers stop both.

Double check the model number, doesn't come up, could be WHDSR316G0WW ? This is a hydrowave model. Motor control board monitors lid switch operation and will disable the washer if it doesn't detect proper operation of the lid switch. You must unplug the 6 pin connector from the motor control board to properly test the switch. If it is stuck closed (very rare), it must be replaced.
