Freezer Won't Dispense Ice

I have a Frigidaire FRS23KF7A refrigerator that won't dispense ice. The door panel seems to be working fine; lights come on when they should, it dispenses water and the ice "flap" opens and shuts as normal. I hear a motor hum when I push the ice dispenser paddle but the ice isn't moving through the tray. I took the ice bin out, emptied it out and checked for jams, broken bits or frozen parts, but saw nothing. The ice auger, I think it's called, turns freely when I turn it by hand, but I get the impression it isn't turning when I try to get ice. Could it be the auger motor?
You folks helped me fix my stove, by the way. Thanks for that.

It's probably not the motor but the linkage between the motor and the auger. Since it needs to be a quick disconnect it's a weak link in the chain. I'll stop back with info for you.

You missed a few letters at the end of your posted model number.

I think that's the extent of the model number. When I open the door, remove the ice tray, push in the "open door indicator button," and push the ice paddle, shouldn't I see the auger turn?

You are right: there is more to the model number: FRS23KF7A W0. The number is posted on two labels in the fridge, one without the last two digits, and behind that, one with.
