GE stove: self-clean function doesn't work

The self clean function of the oven is not working and I can't figure out why.
The previous owner said they stuck a knife into the back right at one point and shorted something (the back right is where the chimney for the self clean hot air comes out).
Any ideas what I can check or replace?
The door lock is manual, it recognizes whether it's closed before starting.
All the electronic functions seem to say it has started but the elements do not heat up.
It's a GE Evolution TSM U300AT 187D1207P004 240V 3000W

This is a GE appliance made for/in Canada. I can't locate service info on it.

Is this a stove or an oven only ?
Does it work normally on oven and broil ?

It's an oven as well as cooking hob with 4 cooking circles.
Everything works normally apart from the self clean.

Sorry for the questions...

Is it all electric or electric/gas ?
Based on the ID plate..... it doesn't show as all electric based on current draw.

Entirely electric 240V
Instruction manual gives a slightly different model from the plate inside the oevn.

Edit: found a different label behind drawer:
Model GRSL3520ZWW-3

If you can see the metal underneath the chimney in this picture, that's where the previous owner stuck the knife in and since then the self clean won't work.
Looks like some sort of coil?

I still can't find any service information on your unit. I get a match to a Frigidaire unit but it's dual fuel.

I don't recognize what that part is in the picture.

Since that is a stove..... if you were to pull it out one day..... you might find a schematic on or inside the back cover. A picture of that could be helpful.
