Kenmore side by side
Hi All, Kenmore 106 58432700 side by side will not freeze ice cream, thermostat set on 5 plenty of cold air coming into freezer compartment ,makes no difference what brand of IC we buy same result.
Has anyone else had this issue?

That fridge looks to have a basic thermostat..... no electronics.
Try turning the fridge side up a number and the freezer down a number and see what happens.
Also..... make sure the coils and the fan underneath the unit are clean. In the summer months it's important to get the heat out of the fridge.
You should check temps with a thermometer too so you know what you are working with.

I did adjust the frig stat a few minutes ago, I was not sure what effect that would have on the freezer,so we will see what happens,freezer has been set on the coldest setting for awhile.
