Five weeks ago, my KitchenAid fridge (model KFIS29BBBL) started turning itself off and back on. The fridge's front panel beeps indicating that the fridge has turned back on. It will run for 20-30 seconds and then cut off again. This process repeats continuously. We tried unplugging the fridge and plugging it back in, but nothing happened. Just for the heck of it, we plugged the fridge into a surge protector and plugged it back into the same outlet. The fridge kicked on and all was well. Ten days later, the fridge did the same thing again with the beeping/turning off and back on repeatedly. We plugged the fridge into the outlet next to the fridge with the surge protector, and it was fine. Five days later, the process repeated again. So, basically, every 5-10 days, the fridge starts turning itself off and back on every 20-30 seconds until it is plugged into a new outlet. What could be causing this? I find it hard to believe it's the fridge when it can run fine for days, but what about switching outlets causes it to work for a few days?
Please help!

Welcome to the forums.
I'll need the complete model number. It will be on the ID tag inside the fridge.
This may not be a DIY repair. This fridge uses several electronic control boards.
Do you get "Refrigeration Cooling is Off" on the display when the unit turns itself off ?

Model number

Attached is a picture of all the info on the inside of the fridge. I'm leaning toward a control board going bad.
No error messages come up on the front panel. It beeps and lights up indicating that the fridge has turned back on. The interior lights stay on during this process.
