EdgeStar 53 bottle built in wine cooler

Hi,
I have a new wine cooler noted above. During my research prior to purchasing it, it got rave reviews for the most part, except an annoying fan that comes on and off every 15 seconds. It seems like it has nothing to do with the compressor and possible its there to circulate the air inside the unit for a more even temperature for the wine, but I'm not sure.
I talked to a sales guy at EdgeStar and they are aware of the issue but didn't have a solution to fix it. I'd rather disconnect it or have it on all the time if I could.

Any thoughts?

Pretty pricey unit and I see people have logged complaints at every review site about the fan noise.

I did not locate any service material on unit and the only mention I found of an external fan is..... Fan-forced front-venting exhaust. There is also a fan inside the unit but I wouldn't think you could hear that one.

There may be a way to have it run all the time but you'd need to find a wiring diagram. There is a good chance there is one on the back or inside the back cover of that unit. If you take a picture and post it here we could look it over.

I can't pull the unit out right now due to some renovations I'm doing in that area, but will do so as soon as possible. I did look in the manual and there is an "Internal Fan" listed in the parts section. I just made a few visual observations. When the compressor is running, this internal fan runs constantly until the compressor stops, then it goes into that on and off every 15 sec. I noticed at the end of the 15 sec run, the fan blades barely stop rotating and then it kicks in again.

That fan is probably activated in two ways..... one is when a compressor is running and two.. is when the ambient air gets too hot. There may be a heat activated control that can be "modified".

Did you get a chance to look at the schematic that I posted?

Yes... thank you. It's not actually a schematic... it's a connection diagram. I can't read the writing on the actual diagram but I don't think it would help much in this case.

I had also been checking for a schematic. So far... I don't have any positive news.
