Not agitating or spinning

My washer is in a similar conundrum.
It doesn't agitate or spin but the motor sounds totally normal.
So we have check the coupler, the clutch and even the agitator dogs. All are in great shape.
There does seem to be a lot of oil but I don't know what's regular amount and my husband and I are at a loss for what could be happening.
The washer is working perfectly apart from not agitating or spinning.

Moved post to it's own thread to avoid confusion. Post model # No agitation and no spin, Does it fill and drain? If so did you take the coupler off and see if cracked or pins broken off?

As Pugsi said, post your model #, and someone should be able to give you some other ideas if this doesn't pan out, but I would start by checking the lid switch with an ohmmeter.

That doesn't leave to much.
