Low water flow from fridge water dispenser
I have a fairly new Kenmore elite 36" french door fridge with bottom freezer (I think made by LG). Since new it had, what I thought, was slow water flow from the water dispenser. This was confirmed when I visited my sisters house and her fridge (samsung?) was dispensing water much faster. I also just replaced the filter and the flow did not change.
I pulled out the fridge to make sure the line was not kinked and check the water flow coming into the inlet valve and it was acceptable. I then rigged up the water so that it bypassed the inlet valve (and filter)and it was much better.
Is there a way to increase the flow on the inlet valve?
Could I permanently bypass the inlet valve?
Is there another solution that I could try?
Thanks in advance for the help.

If you bypass the fill valve.... what will shut the water off ??
How is the ice maker performing ?
Normal sized cubes ?
What is the model number for the fridge ?

The model# is 795.74023.410. (its a Canadian model)
The water flowed better when I bypassed the valve and did start and stop as usual when I pressed the water lever in the door. I'm not sure about the impact on the ice maker flow though.
The ice maker seems to be operating fine.
I didn't see a screen to clean on the inlet valve...Is there something else I can do to increase the flow?
Thanks

Sorry... I wasn't able to view the technical info on that model.
Other than trying different fill valves I can't really offer much additional help.
