GE/Hotpoint washer skipping first spin cycle
I am at my wit's end. I have a Hotpoint (which in my mind seems to be a cheaper GE - repairs are pretty identical). For about a week, it's skipped over the post-wash spin cycle. I have reset the logic board, blown out/cleaned the water fill sensor tube, removed and cleaned the water pump, and fooled a little with the disassembled timer switch/front spin knob. Here are the symptoms: Usually, it's drain, drain, drain, then start in on this God awful rhythmic sucking pump sound which is really loud, then just fill for rinse. It does spin on final cycle. I have got it to actually spin once after wash but it must have been luck, because it was after all I did above - yesterday - and today it skipped again. Anyone have any ideas?? I am at wit's end.

I could not find a tech sheet for your washer did you look in console? Tech sheet will have diagnostics on it. different flashes of the light in motor will give you some info.

Your close with the model number. You missed a digit..... HTWP1400F0WW or HTWP1400F1WW
I have a GE hydrowave tech sheet.... similar...... but not sure if the same.
