Amana Icemaker Line

The plastic line going into the icemaker won't stay in. It is just a slip=in line that goes into a rubber fitting and held in place with a squeeze clamp. Icemaker makes ice just fine, not hollow cubes, but some time after filling the icemaker with water the line just slips out. The fill valve seems ok as there does not appear to be any seepage after the fill.

I could use the model number for your fridge.

Usually it's a metal tube that slides into a bushing. I don't recall a clamp holding it.

Amana Icemaker Line

Thanks for your reply. Found fill line frozen at icemaker and know the input valve is leaking causing the problem. Replacing valve.

Not sure how to claim problem solved for this thread.

Me either. The leaking valve doesn't explain the fill line problem.
If you need further help.... post the model number for me.
