Whirlpool Side by Side.

Hi

I have a Whirlpool S20DRSB33-AG, and the problem is that the freezer temperature display shows 2 dashes and the alarm buzzer is on as in photo, I've looked at the fans and they are working, the drip tray is clean, the condenser heater/timer is working, what else can I do?

Frig guys will be in later, but to get started look in owners manual, most likely there will be a page that tell you what lines mean.

First I would unplug the fridge for a minute then plug it back in. This should reset the computer and might clear the error.

Welcome to the forums.

The -- means the freezer is too warm.
The 6th sense system is activated to try and re-cool.

You may want to clean under the fridge where the condensor coils, fan and compressor are.
Lint and fluff are concerns.
If this area becomes clogged with dust the temperature won't come down enough.

Hi Pilot Dane. I've tried unplugging and replugging, and yes there is a click from the main board and the display shows all is ok, but after a few minutes it's back to 2 dashes ect,

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not sure we can be of much help. This is a predominantly a North American based forum. I tried looking up your fridge but all the info I could find was in Spanish.

From what you are describing is that the defrost may have a problem or you may have a leaking door gasket if you have a lot of visible frost inside.
