Refrigerator Compressor starts and stops

I have a Frigidaire refrigerator (P/N: 241543955) that fluctuates between cold and warm; warm most of the time. I can check it and the freezer/food temps are 0/37 then in a couple of hours they are 48/57, etc. Every 15 seconds or so the compressor starts and runs for 3 or 4 seconds then stops.

I took the panel out of the back of the freezer and I do not see any frost. I pulled the fridge out and there is some dust on the condenser coils but nothing extreme.

I have read a few posts here and elsewhere suggesting that the compressor thermal overload and/or the compressor relay could be my problem. It is important to note that the night before I noticed that the refrigerator was not working we had a good thunderstorm with lightning and one of the GFCU outlet areas in the house had reset, suggesting a surge or close lightning strike.

Would it be worthwhile to replace the thermal overload and the relay?
Can anyone help me find the appropriate part numbers?

Thanks very much in advance.

EDIT: I got the part number above off a sticker inside the fridge but it seems that is not the model number.

I replaced the compressor start relay and it has been cold for 12 hours. It looks like that was the problem.

Welcome to the forums.

Good job replacing the start relay/overload. That is what I would have recommended.

You should look for the ID tag so you know what the model number is for the future.
The tag is usually inside and at the top of the fridge.
