Frigidaire washer

Hi All, Frigidaire washer Mdl. FTF530FS1 does not dispense all of the liquid bleach, is that tray removable for cleaning?I don't have a manual on this washer.

That dispenser will come out but it is a real PITA . The reason usually dispenser will not dispense is that the water flow is slowed down Take the cold water hose off the back of washer and pull screen out and clean it. Cold water one clogs, hot water tank settles the rest of dirt. While hose is off make sure you have good flow. Let us know what you find. Be sure to reinstall screen, do not want valve to go bad.

Low water pressure could do it. Did you take the drawer out and clean it? The dispensing valve could be resisted and slowing water flow. Here is a diagram of washer and part 36 is valve. Not a common problem but happens. Look under cabinet top.

Does that drawer pull out or will I have to pop the top to get to it?

Am traveling so answers will be slow sometimes. Look for a latch to push down or push in. Do not have to take anything apart to get drawer out. Racking brain to remember but a blank right now.

I have removed the dispenser and everything was clean, I may try switching hoses to see if that makes a difference, the hoses on there now will shut off the flow if a hose breaks, although there was never a problem before.

I have seen those anti flood hoses cause problems before. I have never heard of them doing your problem, but can't hurt to switch them.

I removed the valves from the back of the dispenser, blew air through the back of the dispenser to be sure all the holes were clear, they were, put power to the solenoids on the valves to make sure the operated, they did,put all back together and nothing changed, bleach still remained, I will try the hose's in a day or two.

Bleach dispenser works off a siphon so must get water into bleach part to start siphon.
