LG Ice Maker
I have a bottom freezer LG fridge model# LBC22520SW/03. The ice maker stopped producing ice,the tray will turn and flex like its harvesting ice but there is no ice and then it gets stuck in that position clicking and trying to dump ice, it will go on like this for 5 minutes or so and then just get stuck in that position.I checked my water supply (it is good) and i replaced the inlet valve, hitting the test button has the same outcome.
I know there is not much else to do but replace the ice maker itself, i was just hoping someone could confirm that for me as the ice maker assembly is kinda pricey.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums.
Not producing ice is one problem.
But getting stuck in the harvest cycle for 5 minutes is another problem.
I'll check further and be back early this evening when I'm off the road.

Thank you. Like I mentioned I'm pretty sure replacing the ice maker is what needs to be done, the only thing that causing my hesitation is the lack of water. I don't know if there is a sensor or valve on the ice maker itself that would prevent water from getting into the ice tray.
