Wine fridge: "Do not slide into place"

We just got a replacement wine fridge that goes under the counter (like a dishwasher). It has the usual caution stickers but it included this one: "Caution: do not slide into place". Well, it goes under the counter so how do you get it into place without sliding?? What's the deal - what problem are they really trying to avoid here?

Just guessing but are there coils on back or something under it that might get snagged?

It might be a caution about scratching the floor. It's often a good idea to put down a 2' x 4' piece of 1/8" hardboard. Slide the fridge in on that, then yank out the 1/8" hardboard.

As an alternative it's sometimes good to put an item like that on a couple pairs of hardwood Sliders. That way it's less likely to scratch and easier to pull out the next time.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Literally, the only way to get one of those things into place is to slide them into their cubbyhole. Either that, or you need a miniature forklift... There's only about a 1/2 inch gap around the sides between the unit and the cabinets.
