Admiral ade7000ayw dryer won't start

Visiting my Mom and found her dryer won't start. I confirmed power to the wall and to the power strip on the rear panel. Have continuity on the thermostat, door switch, and high limit switch. Interior light bulb is burned out with no replacement immediately avail to install.

The timer makes a faint clicking sound. Is there a continuity test for the timer? It is 53-1810 model m460-g.

What else should I be looking for?

Thanks!

Did you check for 240VAC at the receptacle AND inside the connection box ?

There is a thermal fuse in th circuit. it is located on heater box. I think there are 2 spring clips that hold top down in the front. Top will hinge up and heater is in back. This is a very common part to open and dryer quits. After you fix clean the lint chute to the outside or you will be doing this again. here is a diagram with thermal fuse part # 5. Look under heater

Thanks, PJMax and Pugsl- it was the thermal fuse. Admiral did not make that chore easy: no access through the rear panel, so i had to remove the drum and unship the heater coil.

Based on the amount lint i pulled out of the front panel and some things i'm seeing in the air handler i'm going to ask Mom to have all the vents professionally cleaned.

Thanks for your help!
