Frigidaire clothes washer door latch

After waiting in vain for 35 minutes for Frigidaire cust support to pick up the phone I tried fixing my washing machine myself. Coin was rattling in the rubber boot. I got rid of the coin, but in the process unscrewed the door latch, and it dropped down where I cannot get at it. . front load Model GLTF1040AS0. In order to get the latch back in position, i have to get behind the front panel, and cannot figure out how to do that/remove the panel.

Any idea how to do this? Thanks SO much.

Kids, don't try this at home.

I can't tell from picture but you have either a glued on door boot or a spring that holds the boot to the cabinet. Either way you have to take boot off front (Do not take boot off tub) You than can reach into machine to reinstall lock. If glued you can reglue it or just put it on and see if it holds. Usually will. If not go to auto parts store and get some yellow glue to use, If a spring it is easier for 2 people to install. I can install spring but I have done a couple of hundred of them.
