Help with Whirlpool top freezer please - not blowing cold
Hello-
I have a Whirlpool WRT579SMYM00 top freezer refrigerator.
I started it up yesterday and it is not blowing cold air into either the freezer or refrigerator. I don't think I hear the low hum of the compressor. When I measured the temperature of the output air, it was blowing ambient air temperature plus a few degrees. Last year, the refrigerator copper plumbing was partially replaced/soldered due to a freon leak.
Any help with troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated. Is there simple stuff I can check first?
Thanks.

You'll need to pull the fridge out to see if the compressor is running.
If it is..... it should get hot. One copper line should be ice cold and one will be hot.
There is a fan down there...... see if that's working.

Hello again PJmax. You helped me last time.
If the compressor and fan are not running, as I suspect, what would be the next step?

In your travels around the fridge...... did you find the tech sheet ? It will be in there somewhere. I couldn't find it for your last problem but I'm looking again. The tech sheet is W10414768.
There could be a problem with the defrost board.

I was finally able to get a repair guy out. He said freon leak again. He charged it up and it started working but of course it will likely slowly leak out. The system had been filled with dye during the last repair and he didn't see evidence of a leak so he thinks it is within the inaccessible areas of the fridge. New refrigerator on order : ( Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
