Dishwasher for an Ikea Kitchen

I need a new dishwasher and I have an Ikea kitchen with their dishwasher now. I'd rather buy one from Home Depot, but not sure if I have to go with an Ikea dishwasher again or not. It seems to be a standard size, but not sure if the installation is different.
Thanks for any input!

If the cabinet size is standard I don't see any reason why any brand won't fit. You may possibly need to modify a couple of fittings, but beyond that I see no problem.

Measure the opening in your cabinetry for the dishwasher. In the US 24" is the standard opening width but in Europe it is 60cm which is about 23 5/8". Many dishwashers sold in the US are actually about 23 7/8" wide but check the specs for the machine you are considering. Other than that you might need a different pipe attachment like Norm mentioned but most home centers sell dishwasher hook-up kits that have the adapters and fittings neccessary.

Thanks guys! I had a Whirlpool in there, which I got at Ikea. I measured and it appears to be a standard size opening,. LG's are the smallest dishwashers available, so I ordered one of them (plus it was on sale!).
