Washing machine won't start: outlet ?
every time i have to start washing machine, i have to pull my cord from the outlet and insert again
then it sparks and works for one wash, then it dies, again i have to pull and insert and works
while inserting the cord, i see a spark
i am using same outlet for other application such as work light, and it works fine
can someone guide me - what is the issue and how to fix it
thank you

Hello
I moved your thread to the appliance forum.
Your problem is with the washer. Every time you unplug it your are resetting the processor.
We need the make and model of your washer.

I would start by plugging washer in a different outlet. Use a heavy duty extension cord if no other outlet near. Your LG had control board problems. I retired about the same time your's came out so don't know if that problem was fixed. I had never run into your problem. If outlet feels loose when you plug it in it could be your problem but would try other outlet first. A 15$ investment in a good extension cord is worth it. Get a cord that says wire size 12 or less. Smaller number is better in this .

Does sound like a control board problem.
These units also had problems with the electrical noise filter so I would also take a look at it.

No reset for that board other than what you have been doing.
