LG refrig. quit

I have an LG refrigerator LFX25950TT. Earlier today it quit completely, no lights, no display, no compressor, nothing. Pulled the refrigerator out and unplugged it to check the receptacle. Receptacle was fine, so plugged it back in and everything came back on. I noticed that it felt warmer behind the refrig than I remember from other times the refrig was pulled out. Is there some kind of thermal switch that automatically resets if it overheats? Is this a sign that the end is near? Or did it do exactly what it was designed to do? I did see that it was pushed closer to the back wall than it should have been, all other clearances were good.

That would indicate a problem with the control board and the power supply that is on it.
It may have just gotten jittered. Resetting power reset the board.

When you pulled it out did you remove the rear cover and clean the condenser coils, fan etc.
If not then you should have.
