Turn off outside led on kitchenaid dishwasher

Is there a way to turn off the outside led on a newer kitchenaid dishwasher model #kdte234gpso? The white complete light is very bright and disturbing at night. I couldn't find anything online or on the instruction sheet (which is pretty useless BTW),
Thanks.

We have an older Kitchenaid dishwasher, not sure of the number, but on this model, to turn of the front /outside led (our "complete led" is green), I just press the "cancel/drain" button.

I think most if not all dishwashers turn off all the lights if you "cancel" or if you engage the keypad lock. If you still want to see the light but make it less bright you can experiment with different tapes to cover that one small area. White electrical tape would let some light shine through. You could even try black electrical tape with a small hole punched or cut for the light and you can vary how much light by varying the hole size.
