Fridge/freezer not cold enough
I have a Kenmore refrigerator model # 795.73262303. The fridge cool down to around 45 and the freezer to around 20. The door seals are tight. How do I determine if it needs more Freon. Thanks

First is the unit cycling more or less like normal or is the compressor on all the time except when the unit goes through a defrost cycle.
If cycling normally it is probably a control problem.
If on all the time it could be a defrost or a sealed system or an evaporator fan problem.
With the door switch held closed is the evaporator fan running?
Remove the cover at the back of the freezer so you can inspect the evaporator coils.
If they are frosted/iced up to the point that the evaporator fan cannot pull air through them then it is a defrost problem.
If there is frost just in one area (usually where the freon enters the coils) or if the frost pattern is patchy then it is likely a sealed system problem.
