Early this morning I get informed that the fridge is giving an SY EF alarm and things are starting to get warm. I look it up and it says that it is an evaporator fan circuit problem. I figure the motor is bad. When I get home I take off the back panel to get to the motor and there is ice laying on top of the fan, it couldn't run if it wanted to. I don't know if it fell on it when things got warm or not. The top of the coil was frosted pretty good as well. I let everything melt and put the motor back in, plugged it up and everything start running, for a while. The freezer would get down to about 18 degs and then start climbing. I was checking this with a Fluke thermometer. I noticed that the evaporator fan was running but the condenser fan was not, when it had been earlier. I unplug it and let it set for awhile and then plug it back in and everything starts off good again, to a point and then progress stops. I'm reading that it could be the thermister or the main control board. Where are these located? Any ideas? Thanks in advance. After unplugging and then plugging it back in and letting it run for about 15 minutes the evaporator fan is running but the condenser fan is not, it was right after plugging it back in, the compressor is fairly warm but not hot.

Hello, I have a Maytag dishwasher that just gave out a buzzing sound in the middle of the wash cycle. It only lasted for around a minute and then went away and all is back to normal.
