LG Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Switch

I have an LG fridge model LFXS28566S that I need replace the dispenser switch. It's sticking and causing ice/water to continue to pour. Watched some videos but want make sure I'm on the right path. In the picture I'm going to tap the putty knife around with a hammer to release the tabs. Pull the whole unit out and replace the switch. Correct?

Yes.... just work carefully and gently as the tabs are plastic and can snap off.

Gentle isn't working. Tried a hammer, tried bending/angling the blade down/up and using the hammer. Only goes in about 3/8". Any tips/tricks?

Some more pictures. I'm not 100% sure how it comes off. Looks like the bottom comes out first.

Thanks Pj, I presume the bottom is the three tabs that are circled. I'll try it tomorrow after work.

Yes.... that's what it looks like.
I was on several tech sites and no one has an easy way to get that panel off.
