Storing chest freezer
We finally got an upright freezer and so I have the old chest freezer. Its not very big, 7 sq feet I think. Anyway I don't want to get rid of it but storing it seems kinda dumb.
What if I fill it with bags of ice and leave it plugged in? It shouldn't cost very much to run if its full of ice, and we would have ice on hand for parties, camping, power outages or whatever.
Opinions?
