What is this under my fridge?

Sorry, wasn't really sure what category to post this in.

I was looking under the fridge this morning as we dropped something and weren't sure where it went, and I saw this white stuff hanging down from the bottom. Any thoughts as to what it is?

Is it hard or soft? If hard I think it's just foam insulation.

Unless it's something that you are sure was not there before then I think Norm has it, looks like holes to allow excess foam insulation to escape when manufactured.

But then again, maybe it's that order of General Taos Chop Suey that got spilled last month!

Thanks all. I'm not certain if it was there before or not, but I feel like either my wife or I would have noticed it at some point (when looking for other items the kids dropped).... This is the first time I'm remembering seeing it.

The fridge is only about a year old. No spills that we're aware of, plus this is a bottom freezer model, so possibly any spills would work their way into the freezer, not the bottom (then again, i'm sure spills/leaks go everywhere!).

I'll check later to see if hard or soft.

Thanks again.

I'm thinking hard as in that foam insulation.
If it's soft then most likely a mold. But I doubt it.
