Just grab and pull. I sometimes can't get enough grip with my fingers so I cheat and use pliers. Safety glasses are a good idea because they sometimes shatter when you try removing them.
thanks, I used a flat screwhead to pull it out a bit (but gently) and then pulled it out when I had enough opening (1/4 inch), Fliers was not enough grip
Oh if you actually use another halogen lamp as a replacement don't touch the glass with your fingers as the oils on you fingers & hands will shorten the lamp life by quite a bit as that creates a hot spot, if you do touch it clean if with a soft cloth and alcohol.
The dishwasher fills, then does not circulate water, drains and refills and does not circulate water then drains. At some point in the cycle the detergent compartment opens. This is true in all the different settings. I have tried resetting things according to some instructions on a web site and I have turned off the power and turned it back on after ten minutes and it still does not work.
What steps should I take to diagnose the problem? How complicated is the fix?
With apologies if this has already been covered... I did look!
As nice weather settles in, I'm looking at adding a dryer vent box for my existing 27" dryer to maximize space in our modest laundry. However, I know that we will likely replace the dryer with a new 27" dryer within the next year or two. I want to get the box in the right place both for now and in the future. Yes, I'm rerouting the existing flexible duct work that runs behind both machines.
Is a dryer vent always centered (left-to-right) on the machine?
Is there a standard height of the vent above the floor??
What am I missing as I lay this out??
Thanks very much!
