How do I remove wall oven hinges on old Roper
I have an old Roper model #2041b40 or 2041840. The hinges are toast. I found another oven at an auction for parts. The hinges have a large screw holding them through the inside oven wall. I removed this screw and sure enough the hinge comes loose. However, there is still a spring inside the oven wall that is holding the hinge inside the wall. I seems to me that this is a whole disassembly process to get to that spring. Does anyone know the proceedure to open the wall of this oven or how to otherwise access this spring?

That's 2041B40. You've been working on this since at least 2014.
You have several threads here on that same oven and with the same problem.
Back in 2014 you told me you could get the hinges for $17.
You needed them back then and didn't get them.
If you have a second oven you should be able to see the hinge on the outside of the unit.

The hinges were listed but obsolete.
You cannot just remove the hinge from the outside. It appears that the whole inner shell of the oven needs to be removed. I just want to verify that this is the case.

I can't verify because I've never changed hinges on that particular (older) unit.
The hinges are replaceable from the front on most newer ovens.
