Sears Freezer cross reference
Hi people, I have a Sears Canada upright freezer that requires a door seal/gasket. The model # is 970-247722. Unfortunately, all of my searches have come up empty and Sears Canada is no more. Wondering if anyone might be able to cross reference this unit to it's US counterpart. It's made in the US, and I'm thinking it's Frigidaire but not positive on that.

You are correct..... Frigidaire of Canada.
There are not always corresponding models especially with models manufactured in/for a different country.
Parts Select Ca. should be able to help. I ran your model number and it wasn't found there.

That is strange. Typically Sears of Canada products were assembled in Canada.
Sears products have always used a period..... xxx . xxxxxxx not a hypen xxxxx - xxxxxx.
I'm still looking for some cross reference.
I see Sears Canada is still on facebook.... with a phone number.
You could check with them for a parts location.

Thanks for your help Pete, I was able to cross reference the CDN model # to it's USA model through Parts Select.ca
Kenmore upright freezer model # 970-247722, sold by Sears Canada cross references to Kenmore Elite upright freezer, made in USA, model # 25328712800.
The door gasket is Frigidaire, part # 5304507200
