Maytag washer clothes still very wet after washer stops
hello,
I have this issue with Maytag performa ModelPAV2300AWW washer, works okay except the washer leaves clothes very wet after the wash. It seems like its not rinsing the clothes after washing.
I have done following troubleshooting
1. I uninstalled the drain pump completely and there is no lint/blockage.
2. I checked the pipes and there is no lint/blockage.
3. I checked the washer if its leveled and it seems its levelled
4 I checked at bottom if the belt is connected to washer.
@pjmax Without any clothes in washer, I checked spin function/operation by putting timer on manual spin and bypassing the top door with a pointed object. The washer spins in one direction pretty fast/heavily.
In your 2nd post you say it spins fast with no load (is that like the speed if working properly?). In the 2 videos it almost seems like something is binding with that very small load. You have a pic of the pulleys and belt, is there any way you can remove the belt and hand turn the pulleys to see if any are binding or tight. This would check if its possibly a bad bearing.
hello Numnuts,
I can conclude that when i turn off washer off for hours and then just run it on spin with empty load then it works like the video below
but if i put few clothes and set it on timer and then wait for it to reach spin it works like those 2 videos I posted earlier https://youtu.be/dk6PefZ-Ob8
Hi
Kenmore ultra wash Dishwasher 66513272K114
I have the Tech Sheet and ran the test, but how do I read/interpret results. This model has no display just the LEDs.
I see it has 25 different test intervals and if an error is detected will flash a function and problem code, while if no error is detected the CLEAN LED will light solid for 5 secs.
I also see how the tables in the Tech Sheet relate to each other but no mention of how to interpret the results. I'm guessing it's some sequence of LED flashes.
Thanks

I have a washing machine where the power switch is stuck in the on position. The switch is going to be replaced under home warranty, but that is moving like molasses while I wait for them to order and then come install it, and in the meantime I need a workaround to use the machine. Right now to run the machine I need to unplug it, set the dial to the start of the cycle, and then plug the machine back in. It then comes on and runs a normal cycle and shuts down. But the plugging and unplugging method is hardly optimal. I'd like to put the plug into some kind of external switch to use instead. Will a regular 15A switched surge protector for household electronics work, or is a washer too much current for one of those things? Looking for ideas.Read More
