Model DUFM085A3WP upright freezer
There are 3 shelves with build in cooling coils and one cooling coil at the top of the compartment (picture position 1). This 4th coil doesn't cool, doesn't build up a frost as the other coils/shelves, although it is connected "in series" with the other cooling coils. Is it normal? The freezer works normally, switching on/off, the temp is minus 16 to 18 Celsius.
Well I think 25 years is enough for my old Whirlpool. Besides I can take it apart and perhaps give some parts of it a resurrection. Anyway, I am down to 2 Maytag models. I want a top loader/agitator and no bells and whistles. I don't want my phone to tell Alexa to call my wife to text my kids that the laundry is done. Basic machine that I won't need to learn a computer OS to fix. I am looking at the Maytag MVWC465 vs. MVWC565. Anybody have any experience with these two models. I have spoken to several "appliance experts" over the phone but they are semi-decent at reading the same spec sheet I was.

We just got a new Electrolux front loader. The manual is sketchy, at best, for reversing the door. The Electrolux customer service people were nice enough to give me the names of local repair people who would happily show up for about $150 to $200 and they told me to look for a You Tube video. Also offered to read the manual to me......... None of these hints work. My model I believe is on the newer side: apparently a series 400. The model is a ......427...... The only videos I can find refer to other similar, but different models. I am hoping some one can answer this simple question. After removing the 4 screws that hold the door to the washer,(not hinge to door) how do you get the hinge out/off the washer. I think it might be a press fit but the manual says things like squeeze with your hand to release the pins on the hinge. Makes no sense until I suppose you have it apart. Can anyone help? The process looks pretty simple but I don't want to break something trying to remove the hinge from the machine. Thanks
