GE French Door Model GFE28GSKHSS Ice build up from bottom drawer
Hello,
My refrigerator GE French Door Model GFE28GSKHSS is about 4 years old. Last week, I couldn't move the last drawer because of ice built up. The top was warm, but the bottom has ice built up. I unplugged the power and defrost it for 48 hours. It is cool for a few days. Now, the ice started to built up in the vents behind the drawer as in picture attached. I cleaned up all dust on the back too.
I don't know what other issues it has and how to fix it?
I just came across this concept, to install Hard Start Kit for Refrigerators. I have two Whirlpool that are older but still work. If this would help them keep running or something is it a good idea to install these? How do I know the correct ones to buy?

This issue may be too broad to even diagnose, but I wondered if this might be something commonly diagnosed.
We bought a Whirlpool freezer new a couple of years ago & its always had a light hum or buzz to it occasionally. I am sure its only when the motor or compressor is running but I notice it more sometimes than others. This morning, I could easily hear it across the kitchen. It was really kinda annoying this morning.
I just went back for a 2nd cup of coffee & its quiet as a mouse.
What normally humms/buzzes in a freezer when running & is it something easily fixed or is it a problem that needs to be serviced under warranty?
Any relevant input is appreciated.Read More
