I need a replacement part for an old Montgomery Ward refrigerator but I have been unable to find a parts supplier that recognizes its model number HMG174347B (see attached photo of refrigerator tag). Can anyone provide me with an equivelant manufacturer and model number?
Thanks in advance for any information,
Robert Rent
As far as I know your fridge was made by Whirlpool. They list hundreds of fridges but not yours.
I'd try contacting them directly..... Whirlpool parts.
This is a front-loading Frigidaire Model GLTF2940ES3
The clothes were wet at the end of a wash cycle. I dialed it to drain/spin then pressed Start and it drained until est time 9 then tumbled slowly a couple of times until est time 7 then just shut off and beeped 3x. I thought it was doing this consistently, but one time when dialed to drain/spin, it added water, so I canceled then turned the dial around a couple of times, left it at drain/spin and pushed Start and again it drained until est time 9 then tumbled slowly a couple of times until est time 7 then just shut off and beeped 3x. I opened the top and the belt is in place; I watched it as it did the tumble.
Error code E47 was generated. Should I rely on this and just try to order the part? Read More
The dishwasher leaves water in the bottom.
I replaced the DRAIN PUMP. After replacing it, it didn’t work at first. Then it started working. We used it a couple of times with no problem, but now the problem is back.
I can press the DRAIN BUTTON and it slowly drains. I sometimes need to press it a couple times to get all the water out. (NOTE: There wasn’t anything blocking the spinning wheel last time, so I doubt that is the problem.)
When it’s working correctly, I can clearly hear the water draining. Now, it’s just a trickle.
What could it be? Thanks in advance!
