Dishwasher eror codes

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher 2 years old. A few days ago it started displaying an F9E1 error code and the wash cycle stops. I can get it to resume by pushing the cancel button 3 times (not one or two) but I think it resumes very late in the wash cycle. The washer seems to operate OK except when I select pro dry option. I'm not positive about that yet.

Everything I can find on line says this error code indicates that the DW is not draining. It is draining fine as far as I can tell. The drain line is clear and not kinked. There is no excess water when I open the door.

Any suggestions for further troubleshooting?
