Miele freezer F7462 SNH-1 ice building up and temperature rising
Hi All,
My Miele F7462 SNH-1 tall freezer is about 15 years old and has been working fine until now. Ice builds up inside the No-Frost system located on the top of the draws and the temperature starts to rise. After unplugging and door open for over 2 days (with some hair dryer help) the ice melts and then it works well for few days before the issue starts again.
Checked the door seal and seems in good shape and sticking well all around.
To investigate further I need to access the No-Frost system part to try to identify the fault (heater element, timer, or drainage) BUT could not figure out how to Open (Unscrew) it?
We have a Samsung Front Loading VRT Steam Clothes Washer model # WF448AAP/XAC that stops and keeps giving messages about not being able to drain. We bought it together with the house we bought less than 2 months ago, so we do not know age nor history of use / abuse. It worked O.K. only the first time we used it, then it would stop at each drain cycle. My husband has drained it numerous times manually through the drain pipe next to the filter at the bottom, he removed a lot of debris that looked like sand, little rubber pieces, hair imbedded in slime etc., he cleaned the filer and whatever he had easy access to, and also blew through the drain pipe which seemed to dislodge / move something so that the machine would then complete the wash cycle. It even did a complete wash cycle on its own again, but just once, then it was back to the same manual drainage business. My husband is a pretty handy guy, was able to fix our nearly 40 year old Maytag dryer just months before we moved. We totally regret not having brought our Maytag washer and dryer with us. But now he feels stuck. Read More
Howdy all!
The wife is shopping hard for a new oven, we currently have the 20 year old GE contractor installed 27”.
I got to looking at my cabinet and it looks as if a 30” is just pulling off a couple boards away. I want to make sure of this before she commits to a buy.
I’m 95% sure this was the purpose of the filler wood slats in each side, but I want to 100% sure.
thanks in advance!
