I purchased a new GE wall oven model JTS3000 with four wire connection-red wire, black wire, and white and ground wire taped together. My incoming circuit wiring has a white wire, black wire and ground wire.(separate from the cooktop circuit)
How do I connect correctly?
Thank you Pete (PJMAX)
My concern was do I connect the white wire coming from the circuit to the red wire of the oven, and the black wire coming from the circuit to the black wire of the oven, and the ground wire coming from the circuit to the white and ground wire of the oven? (there are only the three wires coming from the circuit- white, black and ground)
Thanks
I have a brand new, GE GSE23GGPECWW refrigerator. The first 48 hours I had it the motor noise was so loud and continuous I just couldn't stand it so I tucked blankets around one side and across the top between the fridge and the wall while I waited for the GE repairman. It is just outside the bedroom so it disturbed my sleep, and I could hear it down the hall in the living room. The blankets helped a lot. The repairman said the fridge was using some new coolant that made the fridges noisier, if I remember correctly. It isn't as loud now as it was the first 48 hours and it isn't continuous but I would still like to tuck something permanently between the sides of the fridge and the wall. What do you folks recommend I use? Thanks.Read More
When rinsing the cloth, the washer only takes in water from the cold water line. If I have 2 working hot water line, can I connect both of them to the washer, one to the hot water inlet, the other to the cold water inlet?
Would hot water entering the cold water inlet damage the machine?Read More
