Hot water line connects into washing machine cold water inlet?

When rinsing the cloth, the washer only takes in water from the cold water line. If I have 2 working hot water line, can I connect both of them to the washer, one to the hot water inlet, the other to the cold water inlet?

Would hot water entering the cold water inlet damage the machine?

Machine doesn't care, the water valve is the same.

the washer only takes in water from the cold water line.
Meaning the cold water side of the solenoid is not working?

Just wash everything with hot water selected!

I am not sure what you are attempting that you want a how water rinse but hooking up hot to both inputs should not harm the machine. I don't think the wasted energy will buy you something unless dying where you might need a hot rinse.

The machine is working just fine. Machines have used strictly cold water for rinse for many years.
He just wants a hot rinse.

Yes.... two hot water supply lines will do what you want however how will you handle the wash cycle ?
It's pretty wasteful and expensive to wash all clothes in hot water.
