Dishwasher Side Brackets

I got stone counters, so I need to do a cabinet side mount bracket for the DW. Problem is that the cabinet side that butts against the bracket is only 3/4" thick.

So the side screw location leaves the DW and its side gasket sticking out too far...I can't push the DW back far enough because the screw will miss solid wood.

What can I do? Only thing I can think is to screw a block back there to enable the DW to push back farther.

Or am I missing something else? Thanks!

DW pulled out a little to show the 3/4" cabinet side.

Right side of DW showing side bracket.

I had a similar issue. I glued and screwed a piece of oak to the back side of the cabinet face so I ended up with 1 1/2" of wood but you can add whatever thickness you need. In my case the wood used packing the new dishwasher was very high quality so it was nice of the new dishwasher to provide it's own cabinet mounting extensions.
