Hi, I have a GE microwave model JVM1190. It is about 6 years old and works fine but I guess the excessive opening of the oven has cause the lower part of the black handle to snap off. The top part is still connected but I wanted to replace it or glue it back maybe. I tried to get at it with no success. The inside of the door has 4 star type screws which I removed and I still couldn't get to the door handle. Any ideas? Thanks for reading.

Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me before I have to chuck this otherwise really nice B&D coffee maker. It's a TCM model with a carafe and has always worked just fine -- obediently coming on when asked either in the auto mode or the manual mode. Today, the button was pushed as usual, the light came on, but no water heating. Oh, there was some tiny life in there but nothing substantial and the water never got hot enough to boil and make coffee. We are baffled as to what happened to it overnight. Yesterday it was perfectly fine. Today, sick unto death. We tried unplugging it and then re plugging it in but no dice. We've only had it about a year and I realize things dont last as long as they used to, but for $55, I think it should work a bit longer! On the other hand, if there is no hope for this coffee maker, any suggestions on what else to buy that is reliable and makes really good coffee? thanks very much for any help.
