I open and clean the hoses, motor, brushes and re essemble.
Started again now it DOSEN'T vaccume as well as shuts down.!!!

Any idea how to fix this ? the brush roller is rotating clock wise ( is it right direction ? )

Brainking,

Have you looked in the manual?

If you do not have one, download this one - click the latest download - 06/04

http://www.dirtdevil.com/CustomerService/Manuals/default.aspx?id=5301

From the sounds of it, it may need professional servicing. Being in a warehouse and not used should not had been a problem but yo0u don't mention how long it was used before being placed in storage. Being almost 8 years old, and if it was even used half that time, a professional service would be in order.

Hope this helps!
