Sharp "over stove" microwave issues: 1) LEDs dead, 2) mica window disintegrated

Bought a Sharp over stove microwave a few years ago...
1) after 2 years, 50% of the LED segments are dead... really annoying...

2) the mica window just burnt up. I called Sharp, who referred to a 3rd party parts dealer who wanted something like $50 for this silly mica window (about 35% of the original price of the microwave itself). We've been using the thing without the mica window, but if I can replace it for $10, I'd do it. $50 is just ridiculous for a little piece of mica that will probably burn up again... none of our other microwaves have this problem...

So if there is a source for reasonably priced mica windows, I'd appreciate hearing about it...
