Rowenta DW9080 Iron leaking

The wife is not too happy with rascal our cat today.
He knocked her newer Rowenta Iron to the floor and now it
leaks water if it's laying down or tip upside down.

Does anyone know where to find instructions on how to dismantle it to see where the tank is cracked. I removed the rear cover and took out the plastic broken corner but do not see where it could have cracked the tank.
the model number is DW9080.
Thanks

Not sure that it's fixable, but you might want to contact Rowenta. They'll be able to tell you if it is. Don't think there's any instructions around tho. Most items made today are throw away and not fixable.
On a side note, Rowenta's used to make the best irons, but not anymore. Most of them leak and spit even if they weren't dropped, so your iron may not even be cracked.

yea shade you are right. she has complained from day one that you cannot get wrinkles out and have to drain it after every
use or it will leak.
