Electrolux Diplomat and Epic vacs with no suction
I have an Electrolux Diplomat canister vac, and an Electrolux Epic canister vac. There is plenty of suction with the hoses off but very little when the hoses are plugged back in. There is no blockage in the hoses - all clear! I also have used brand new bags.

If you have suction at vacuum but no suction with hose plugged in you still have something in hose. Are you saying that the brush will pick up? Is there suction at port where hose connects to vacuum? If brush assy works and no suction at port you have a blockage in port assy.
