Whirlpool microwave not heating up
Was wondering if anybody would be able to help me out with
my microwave not heating up? This is the second time within
a year that it has happened. The first time I took it to a small
appliance repairman. They said it was the magnetron and replaced
it. Now it has happened again. It is only 3 years old. Was wondering if
anybody had some advice about trouble shooting and working on this myself?

There is a good chance that the magnetron has failed again. Microwave ovens operate with high voltage. Most people would prefer not to open a microwave oven and I don't consider them DIY repair items.
If you have a volt/ohmmeter you could do some checking.
