Scunci steamer will not heat up

I've had for a few years and I love it. The light still comes on but it is not heating. Any suggestions?

I am not familiar with that steamer. Do you know if it uses a heating coil/element or just two rods onto the water? Did you fill it with distilled or tap water?

Welcome to the forums.

It's a miracle...... a miracle they work at all. They have them listed on Amazon for $249 and it says made in USA. There are many pages of "happy" users.

When they work they're great but you need to constantly use vinegar in them to keep them clean. Running distilled water in them can be very helpful to keeping them working.

I'm pretty sure there is a thermostat/or safety stat in the base to regulate the heat but I can't find anyone that sells any parts for these units.

There are a couple of slightly different models.

Just want to point out, you can get it from Scunci for $59.99. Gotta watch some of these sellers elsewhere!

IMO, I would consider it disposable, as are most small appliances these days.
