Filter Queen Majestic

Have a really old Filter Queen Majestic (I bielieve its known as a canister vacuum)

Its been really good, reliable.

Recently it started working intermittently. Sometimes when you pushed the switch it would turn on, sometimes not. Then stopped working altogether. I took it apart completely. Cannot get it to run (even though the motor is getting power). I even jumped the switch and it wont start.

Is the motor done? Anything I can try / do?

Can it be repaired?

Thanks people

If you've checked and found power at the motor then the power switch is ok.

Is the motor done.... maybe. Those are brush type motors and with age and use the brushes just wear out. There are parts still available for Filter Queen vacs.

Look for a model number and post it for me.
